Interests and passions come in many forms. The very first passion I can remember is that of writing and it came in different forms: poetry, letters, essays and fictional stories. As a child and, later, an adolescent, I felt that writing was, above all, a way to understand myself and to connect with others. Moving on through life, I developed many other interests: reading, hiking, small arts and crafts, social justice, emotional intelligence, education and other, and I have tried to develop them through work, leisure, by creating projects of my own, joining other likeminded people, volunteering and engaging with associations.
