Eu, no entanto, decidi claramente dedicar-me \u00e0 literatura militante.<\/em><\/p><p style=\"text-align: right; padding-left: 240px;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>Luis Sep\u00falveda, in Letteratura nei tempi inquieti: Scrivere, immaginare, cambiare il mondo <\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A escrita vem de muitos espa\u00e7os: da paix\u00e3o, da dor, da imagina\u00e7\u00e3o abundante. E h\u00e1 uma escrita que \u00e9 necessidade pura de den\u00fancia e desejo de mudan\u00e7a: a escrita militante.<\/p><p>Em \"Beloved\", Toni Morrison desenha um retrato interior profundo, individual e colectivo, do que foi a mais desumana e cruel exist\u00eancia do ser humano: a escravatura. O que interessou a Morrison foi explorar a vida interior inspirada na escrava Margaret Garner (1833-1858), de como poderia viver, experienciar e sentir uma mulher que vivera na escravatura desde sempre e que, ap\u00f3s a sua fuga e perante o risco de captura, matara uma filha e tentara matar os restantes filhos. Quem poderia ser essa mulher? Como viveria? O que leva uma m\u00e3e a matar um filho seu? E o que estar\u00e1 por detr\u00e1s desse acto? Loucura, amor, hist\u00f3ria colectiva?<\/p><div><p>Sobre a hist\u00f3ria de Garner, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2019\/obituaries\/margaret-garner-overlooked.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rebecca Carroll<\/a> do New York Times escreveu:<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">\u201cA hist\u00f3ria de Garner ficou gravada na hist\u00f3ria como sendo simultaneamente sensacional e singular. Ela colocou em evid\u00eancia uma quest\u00e3o que permanecia sem resposta nos lares e nos cora\u00e7\u00f5es dos brancos na Am\u00e9rica pr\u00e9-Guerra Civil: seria a escravatura um destino pior do que a morte? Garner, com uma faca na m\u00e3o, deu uma resposta imposs\u00edvel de ignorar.\u201d<\/p><p>E \u00e9 esta resposta que Morrison explora, porque n\u00e3o \u00e9 poss\u00edvel ignorar o que foi a viv\u00eancia da escravatura para os pr\u00f3prios escravos. \u00c9 preciso olhar para estes momentos da hist\u00f3ria \u2013 os que aconteceram antes e os que est\u00e3o a acontecer hoje \u2013 para nos questionarmos enquanto indiv\u00edduos e sociedade. A escravatura aconteceu a pessoas a quem lhes foi negado tudo, at\u00e9 o sentimento mais b\u00e1sico do ser humano, como o amor ou at\u00e9 um nome pr\u00f3prio.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">\u201cArriscado, pensou Paul D (um antigo escravo), muito arriscado. Para uma mulher que tinha sido escrava, amar algo assim tanto era perigoso, especialmente se fossem os seus filhos que ela se tinha resignado a amar. O melhor, ele sabia, era amar s\u00f3 um pouco, tudo, s\u00f3 um pouquinho, para que, quando lhe partissem as costas ou a enfiassem num saco de corvina, bem, talvez ainda restasse um pouco de amor para o pr\u00f3ximo (in Beloved).\u201d<\/p><p>As quest\u00f5es que o romance de Toni Morrison levanta inevitavelmente continuam actuais. O dono do escravo detinha todo o poder sobre os benef\u00edcios da m\u00e3o-de-obra escrava. Ent\u00e3o, porque \u00e9 que precisava de tratar com tal desumanidade o escravo? O que \u00e9 que h\u00e1 no ser humano que o leva a querer dominar a tal ponto e a cometer tais atrocidades? Como \u00e9 que se convence uma sociedade inteira de que outro ser humano tem o mesmo valor que o gado? E, por outro lado: de que mat\u00e9ria s\u00e3o feitas essas outras pessoas que tiveram um papel na aboli\u00e7\u00e3o da escravatura? E, em que ponto, uma realidade que era aceite por todos torna-se inaceit\u00e1vel? Ser\u00e1 no dia em que teremos a capacidade para responder a estas quest\u00f5es, que conseguiremos mudar estruturalmente a nossa sociedade e evitar todas as outras escravaturas. Porque elas ainda n\u00e3o pararam.<\/p><p>No seu \u201cO Livro das Rainhas\u201d, Joumada Haddad conta a hist\u00f3ria individual de quatro mulheres da mesma fam\u00edlia que atravessaram os v\u00e1rios conflitos que afectaram ou afectam ainda hoje o M\u00e9dio Oriente, desde o genoc\u00eddio arm\u00e9nio do in\u00edcio do s\u00e9culo XX, passando pelo conflicto Israel-Palestina e L\u00edbano-S\u00edria.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">\u201cA verdade \u00e9 que as pessoas precisam de ser mais incomodadas,\u201d conta o narrador de Haddad. \u201cMais sacudidas da sua indiferen\u00e7a nauseabunda. N\u00e3o \u00e9 a crian\u00e7a de tr\u00eas anos massacrada que deve pedir desculpa por rebentar a bolha de conforto das pessoas ilesas. Essas pessoas \u00e9 que devem pedir-lhe desculpa, a ela e a todas as v\u00edtimas inocentes, por permitirem o massacre. (...) far\u00edamos melhor em concentrarmo-nos na grande quest\u00e3o: como podemos evoluir de humanos para humanit\u00e1rios (in O Livro das Rainhas)?\u201d<\/p><p>Em \u201cQuem Matou o Meu Pai\u201d, \u00c9douard Louis utiliza a hist\u00f3ria do seu pr\u00f3prio pai para denunciar a inefic\u00e1cia, a ignor\u00e2ncia e a viol\u00eancia do sistema social e pol\u00edtico franc\u00eas. \u201cA hist\u00f3ria do teu corpo acusa a hist\u00f3ria pol\u00edtica,\u201d diz Louis do seu pai.<\/p><p>A pol\u00edtica n\u00e3o \u00e9 inocente. Os cidad\u00e3os n\u00e3o s\u00e3o entidades abstractas. Cada decis\u00e3o tomada tem consequ\u00eancias. Estas tr\u00eas obras, como tantas outras, mostram-nos que por detr\u00e1s de cada conflito est\u00e1 um sofrimento pessoal, um destino ao qual n\u00e3o se pode escapar. Por detr\u00e1s dos n\u00fameros, est\u00e1 um rosto, um nome e uma hist\u00f3ria individual. Mas essa hist\u00f3ria \u00e9 tamb\u00e9m a hist\u00f3ria da humanidade, que tem tanta dificuldade em reinventar-se e em se questionar. A escrita de Morrison, Haddad e Louis \u00e9 muito dura, \u00e9 dif\u00edcil de ler. Nenhum dos seus personagens foi poupado ao sofrimento. Mas \u00e9 importante relembrar que Sethe n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas inspirada na vida da escrava Margaret Garner, ela \u00e9 cada escravo; tal como as quatro rainhas de Haddad foram inspiradas na hist\u00f3ria das mulheres da sua fam\u00edlia e na sua; como Louis fez o relato do seu pr\u00f3prio pai e da sua pr\u00f3pria hist\u00f3ria. E s\u00e3o estas hist\u00f3rias que mostram a urg\u00eancia de continuar a escrever, a ler e a discutir, porque ainda n\u00e3o conseguimos criar uma fenda numa hist\u00f3ria que perpetua e acentua desigualdades, ignora o impacto das pol\u00edticas nas hist\u00f3rias individuais e teima em n\u00e3o condenar os decisores pol\u00edticos. E, sobretudo, porque ainda n\u00e3o conseguimos criar uma sociedade onde cada pessoa consiga viver bem e em paz, em condi\u00e7\u00f5es dignas e em harmonia consigo mesma, o outro e o meio-ambiente.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
