para qualquer profiss\u00e3o que nos exija trabalhar com crian\u00e7as diretamente, ele deve estar algures entre o conseguirmos ser uma mistura do adulto que gostar\u00edamos de ter tido ao nosso lado quando \u00e9ramos crian\u00e7a e o adulto que a crian\u00e7a que est\u00e1 \u00e0 nossa frente precisa, tal como ela \u00e9. E, em segundo, criarmos as condi\u00e7\u00f5es para que a crian\u00e7a possa vir a ser um dia aquilo que mais desejamos: feliz, aut\u00f3noma ou respeitosa \u2013 ou outros valores que para n\u00f3s sejam fundamentais.<\/p><p>Se conseguirmos come\u00e7ar por aqui, j\u00e1 estaremos a fazer um grande caminho. Pensarmos no adulto que gostar\u00edamos de ter tido quando fomos crian\u00e7as obriga-nos a pensar nas nossas necessidades, no que recebemos, no que n\u00e3o recebemos e no que gostar\u00edamos de ter recebido. Se precis\u00e1vamos de colo ou um abra\u00e7o quando t\u00ednhamos um pesadelo, talvez seja isso que o nosso filho precisa hoje. Se precis\u00e1vamos de algu\u00e9m que nos perguntasse \u201cqueres falar ou como te posso ajudar\u201d quando nos sent\u00edamos tristes, talvez aquele aluno calado, que nunca fala com nenhuma outra crian\u00e7a, que fica a um canto s\u00f3 no recreio, tamb\u00e9m precise de um adulto que o alcance.<\/p><p>Certamente quando cresceste, querias mais que tudo que os teus pais de compreendessem, que os teus professores te vissem e que os teus amigos gostassem de ti por quem eras. Os nossos filhos, alunos, as crian\u00e7as em cuidados alternativos e todas as outras com quem contactamos tamb\u00e9m querem que as compreendemos, que as vejamos e que as toquemos de um ponto de vista emocional. <br \/>Enquanto pais, mas tamb\u00e9m educadores, temos desejos e expetativas para os nossos filhos. Se queremos que respeitem o outro, eles t\u00eam que crescer no respeito por si. Se queremos que sejam aut\u00f3nomos, temos que criar as condi\u00e7\u00f5es para que possam explorar e aprender sozinhos. Se queremos que sejam felizes, temos que ser um adulto facilitador de bons exemplos \u2013 temos que mostrar como se cuida de n\u00f3s mesmos, de mostrar como se resolve um conflito, como se respeitam as nossas necessidades, como \u00e9 que se ouve, para que um dia saibam ouvir; ou como \u00e9 ser ouvido, para que um dia saibam esperar do outro que o ou\u00e7am tamb\u00e9m.<\/p><p>N\u00e3o deve haver nada de mais complexo e bonito do que educar e ver crescer uma crian\u00e7a, de a ver tornar-se um adolescente e de a ver florescer enquanto pessoa, toda a sua vida.<\/p><p>Sejamos esse adulto que se questiona e que tenta compreender o outro. Sejamos esse adulto que d\u00e1 o que lhe \u00e9 natural, mas tamb\u00e9m o que requer esfor\u00e7o, simplesmente porque \u00e9 o que a crian\u00e7a precisa. Sejamos o adulto que v\u00ea, guia e apoia com assertividade, mas sem julgamento.<\/p><p>Conforme o Artigo 29 da Conven\u00e7\u00e3o sobre os Direitos da Crian\u00e7a, fa\u00e7amos com que:<\/p><p>\u201cA educa\u00e7\u00e3o (seja destinada) a promover o desenvolvimento da personalidade da crian\u00e7a, dos\nseus dons e aptid\u00f5es mentais e f\u00edsicas, na medida das suas
