Uma vez que o bem-estar das crian\u00e7as \u00e9 complexo e que os direitos da crian\u00e7a s\u00e3o abrangentes, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio recolher informa\u00e7\u00f5es qualitativas e quantitativas e de forma desagregada. <em>As informa\u00e7\u00f5es qualitativas<\/em> d\u00e3o-nos uma vis\u00e3o sobre aspectos que n\u00e3o podem ser recolhidos por estat\u00edsticas ou outro tipo de dados quantitativos, por exemplo, a satisfa\u00e7\u00e3o de uma crian\u00e7a ou fam\u00edlia em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a um determinado servi\u00e7o, a sua experi\u00eancia de cuidados ou a qualidade de um processo de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o ou educa\u00e7\u00e3o. <em>As informa\u00e7\u00f5es quantitativas<\/em> fornecem informa\u00e7\u00f5es comparativas sobre a popula\u00e7\u00e3o infantil global, tais como o n\u00famero de crian\u00e7as inscritas no sistema de ensino, o n\u00famero de crian\u00e7as que t\u00eam acesso a cuidados de sa\u00fade prim\u00e1rios ou o n\u00famero de crian\u00e7as que vivem em institui\u00e7\u00f5es de cuidados alternativos. Por \u00faltimo, \u00e9 importante recolher <em>dados desagregados<\/em> porque nos permite identificar as diferen\u00e7as entre os grupos et\u00e1rios, o g\u00e9nero ou o contexto socioecon\u00f3mico das crian\u00e7as, o que ajuda a compreender que grupos de crian\u00e7as podem necessitar de uma aten\u00e7\u00e3o acrescida para garantir que todos t\u00eam acesso aos servi\u00e7os dispon\u00edveis e, em \u00faltima an\u00e1lise, \u00e0s oportunidades de que necessitam para se desenvolverem.<\/p><p>Nem todos os profissionais que trabalham com crian\u00e7as ser\u00e3o investigadores ou especialistas de planeamento. No entanto, \u00e9 \u00fatil ter compet\u00eancias b\u00e1sicas de planeamento, especialmente se os profissionais estiverem envolvidos em alguma forma de planeamento, por exemplo, se lhes for pedido que identifiquem a\u00e7\u00f5es ou atividades no seu departamento ou contexto. E, se quisermos mudar a vida das crian\u00e7as, essas ac\u00e7\u00f5es ou atividades devem ser baseadas nas necessidades reais das crian\u00e7as. Por exemplo, imagine que trabalha num munic\u00edpio, no departamento de desporto. A sua unidade ou departamento nunca efectuou um inqu\u00e9rito de satisfa\u00e7\u00e3o dos cidad\u00e3os e pensa que isso \u00e9 importante, <u>n\u00e3o h\u00e1 or\u00e7amento dispon\u00edvel para o exerc\u00edcio<\/u>mas ainda assim acreditas que podes mobilizar alguma energia na equipa para p\u00f4r em pr\u00e1tica algumas a\u00e7\u00f5es de mudan\u00e7a. Neste caso, n\u00e3o dever\u00e1 ser promovido um estudo dispendioso ou um exerc\u00edcio moroso, porque, de qualquer modo, sabes que n\u00e3o haver\u00e1 dinheiro, por exemplo, para fazer mudan\u00e7as relacionadas com as infra-estruturas. No entanto, ainda \u00e9 poss\u00edvel fazer alguma coisa. Uma das tuas op\u00e7\u00f5es poderia ser fazer um pequeno question\u00e1rio \u00e0s crian\u00e7as e\/ou aos pais\/cuidadores no contexto de um evento desportivo organizado pelo munic\u00edpio. Poder\u00e1s fazer perguntas tais como:<\/p><ul><li>O que \u00e9 que mais gostou no evento de hoje?<\/li><li>O que \u00e9 que menos gostou no evento de hoje?<\/li><li>Considera que \u00e9 importante para o munic\u00edpio promover este tipo de eventos? Sim \/ Sim, mas acho que h\u00e1 outros eventos que seriam melhores \/ N\u00e3o \/ N\u00e3o tenho opini\u00e3o<\/li><li>Se respondeu n\u00e3o, que tipo de eventos prefere?<\/li><li>Tem alguma sugest\u00e3o sobre como melhorar a vida na cidade ou na aldeia?<\/li><\/ul><p>Estes s\u00e3o apenas exemplos de perguntas que podem ser feitas. O inqu\u00e9rito pode ser simples e curto, mas provavelmente ainda assim ser\u00e3o identificadas informa\u00e7\u00f5es importantes e muitas vezes inesperadas sobre a unidade ou o servi\u00e7o onde trabalhas. Com base nos resultados do inqu\u00e9rito, podes marcar uma reuni\u00e3o com os teus colegas e, sempre que poss\u00edvel, com o diretor da unidade ou servi\u00e7o, para discutir e ver o que pode ser posto em pr\u00e1tica. Alguns resultados podem ser mais f\u00e1ceis de p\u00f4r em pr\u00e1tica do que outros, mas h\u00e1 sempre algo que pode ser alterado para melhorar a experi\u00eancia das crian\u00e7as em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos cuidados (ou servi\u00e7os) que est\u00e3o a receber.
